I’m Mariela and I’m a bilingual Hispanic actress in NYC.

I grew up in that part of Delaware where everyone says they’re basically from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey too. My dad’s side of the family is a group of Hispanic immigrants who speak quicker than lightning and have a natural knack for visual arts, the latter of which only really served me when I painted Eeyore on my senior parking spot. My mother’s family is a gaggle of Italian accountants who were so passionate about their jobs that I became a devoted subscriber to Bloomberg Businessweek at eleven years old. As a child, I was always involved in a host of activities - from piano to student government to sports year-round. Acting was the greatest thing I loved with the greatest career risk, so I dedicated myself to the challenge and earned my BFA in Acting at Pace University. I’m repped by DDO Artists, my favorite radio station is NPR, and by the time you’re reading this, I’ve probably already eaten my daily banana.
